A sworn translation is an official, certified document, bearing the seal of the Court of Appeal and the signature of a sworn translator. A simple translation, on the other hand, does not have any official certification. Sworn translations are commonly required for legal documents, certificates and various administrative or legal procedures, whereas simple translations are generally used for informal purposes.

Our sworn translations from Greek to and from French, stamped by the Paris Court of Appeal (Cour d'appel de Paris), are valid in Greece, France and Cyprus. They have also been filed in other countries such as the USA, the UK, Canada and Middle Eastern countries. As members of atanet.org since 2005, we ensure various international recognitions. We also cooperate with fellow translators for sworn translations for languages like Italian, German, Romanian, Bulgarian and English.

The time required to complete a translation varies depending on text length and complexity. After evaluating your documents, we will provide a delivery estimate. For example, a typical citizenship application file usually takes about a week.

Translation certification is completed by affixing the seal of the Paris Court of Appeal (Cour d'appel de Paris) and the signature of the sworn translator.
